About Us

A place that doesn't ask you to do anything — except enjoy it.

Cycle Lake Resort sits on the quiet shores of a private lake in the heart of Wisconsin's Northwoods. For over two decades, we've been the place people come to remember what quiet sounds like.

Whether you're here for a weekend escape, a family reunion, or a solo week with nothing but a book and a dock, our cabins and rooms are designed to disappear into the background so the lake can take center stage.

The Experience

What happens when you
stop checking your phone?

Cycle Lake isn't an activity park. It's a place where the activities are optional and the peace is guaranteed. Here's what most people actually do when they arrive.

Kayaks & Paddleboards

Complimentary watercraft for guests. Take them out at dawn — that's when the loons start talking.

Fishing Access

Northern pike, walleye, and bass in our private waters. We'll lend you a rod if you forget yours.

Trail Access

Miles of wooded trails right from the property. Hike, bike, or just walk until the cell service disappears.

Campfire Gatherings

Evening fires on the shore with s'mores provided. Stargazing is better here than anywhere in the city.

About 2 hours north of Madison. We're close enough to reach, far enough to forget. GPS works — but don't be surprised if you lose signal halfway up the drive. That's the point.
